Yarn & Paints
Yarning in Aboriginal culture is storytelling, informal, culturally friendly and includes all mob. Yarning circles whilst painting creates a harmonious, creative, and collaborative way of communicating. It helps foster a respectful, open, honest interaction where it provides a safe place for all participants to be heard and responded to.

Rodger Penrith Memorial
In collaboration with Allan McKenzie Snr, the Penrith family and Griffith Black & Whites RLFC.
This piece honours Rodger's deep connections to community, family, and culture. Incorporating the Indigenous War Memorial, yarning circles and red poppies to reflect his dedication to the ANZACs. Subtle earthy and soft pink tones represent his love for his wife Lisa and daughter Madison, while the Rabbitohs imagery pays tribute to his passion for South Sydney. The artwork embraces Wiradjuri Country, using traditional symbols to unite the Koori and non-Koori communities - just as Rodger did in life.
